It is not often as a Newcastle Fan that one can celebrate, but I think on this occasion we of the Toon Army can celebrate!

6-0!!! What a score! Can't wait to watch Match of the Day now!

And for me it is even more special as I grew up far away from Newcastle, so I used to go and watch them at Villa, never saw more than 1 goal a match…!

7th in the table! (Probably the highest we will be this season but hey!):D

Bring it on!

Don't write us off quite yet!

I think so, cracking score against a Villa team who surprised me last week by winning after the manager ran away, you start to wonder if he was right :D

Good news. I knew they were 3 up on the way to the range.
I'm routing for them to stay up, and I think they will.

I think most people expected Newcastle to stay up before today's game. Enough experienced PL players in the likes of Barton and Nolan to do enough in your home games.

With Blackpool,West Brom and the pile of crap that has outstayed their welcome like Wigan i think you will be safe.

I think Martinez has been hammering the Rottella book's.

Of course you will cant believe your asking the question, they have a good chance of being half way, imo.Im more concerned for the manager of Villa, there is no way if Martin oneil was still manager that result would have happened.

Plenty of rubbish teams so you'll be fine. Blackpool, Wigan, West Ham will all be below you. I'm quite chuffed at our result too as a Fulham fan. A decent penalty shout turned down and gifted Utd an own goal. Terrible decision for the Utd penalty. How can it be deliberate handball when you kick it off your knee onto your hand. Justice was done with a great save and then Hangeland pops up with an equaliser.

I think we're showing a touch more attacking intention under Hughes and seemed to be playing well on the break. Even though he was exceptional last week at Bolton and today I think we need someone with more experience than Stockdale in goal.

It's been a goal crazy PL weekend and long may it continue. Last years captain is a Villa fan so I'm looking forward to seeing him in the week. Good performance by Newcastle and Hughton is doing a decent job.

Blackpool, Wigan and West Brom to go - you'll be fine. That squad should never have got themselves relegated in the first place!

I was in Sri Lanka at the time and oh so fortunate to actually see the game.

Admittedly, our best game of the season already means we have 36 worse ones to go, but who cares?

6-0 and against "top four" Villa.

Joy!
