Just imagine the Royal and Ancient has a fit and announces that golfers can now carry 16 clubs instead of 14....
Would you....
a) stick with the clubs you have
or
b) add 2 clubs to make up the 16 and what would they be?

I'd drop my 4 wood, put in 3 and 5 woods and I'd also put in a left handed 7 iron - just in case I'm the wrong side of a tree.
Havn't got any room for any more anywhere else.

I've only got 11 at the moment. Left handed club sounds like a good idea. With my current iron lofts PW is a 45*, I'd have a wedge reshuffle and carry 45, 50, 54, 58 and still be able to put a hybrid in the bag.

However, that said, seeing as I'm struggling to hit more than half the clubs in my bag consistently I think I'll stick with 11.

Only have 9 in the bag at present, but when at full capacity would add a 2 iron instead of constantly changing it with my 3 wood but not sue what to do with the other space.

- 1 iron
- 64 deg wedge (wedge no 5!!)
- L/H club probably a 7 iron
- Another Driver (Different flight)
- Another Putter

2 MORE DRIVER ONE FADE ONE DRAW AND ONE STRAIGHT or one with a short shaft the options would be great, anyone actually try and hit a club left handed is it east i like the idea of a left handed club.

I'd have to buy a bigger carry bag and cart bag. I'll end up like the Mrs, with lots of different bags clogging up the place! Around my course i really only use 8 or 9 clubs, and now i realise that i always carry a full set. Perhaps i should be reducing the numbers in my bag to save the environment?!!!

5 wood & 1 iron.

Both for playing off the tee for different wind conditions.

The main problem I find with the rescue club is from off the tee in wind conditions.

Therefore I'd like to keep that just for playing from the fairway& rough.

I'd then use the 5 wood for playing from the tee when little wind, or wind behind.

The 1 iron would be to use from the tee when windy conditions.

Only got 13 in at the moment.
leaves me the option of changing the wedge or wood set up but reasonably happy with 13 at the moment.

As for left handed, just turn a wedge. I practice this and a back handed shot for just such an ocassion.

I'd definitely put the extra clubs in if the ruls changed. I'd probably go for an extra wedge and maybe an extra longer club (maybe a 4H). I certainly wouldn't waste a slot with a left handed club. Realistically how many times would you need that compared to the work an extra wedge would do

I'd
a) go for 16
b) buy a BIG bag
c) get the Rolls Royce of powered trolleys.

What club would I add.....?

1) a chipper
2) a blob wedge

or then again

1) a driving iron
2) a 4th wedge

personally i would go with a left handed 7 iron and another putter.. I find my putter not great on the longer putts..

Tho you have to think about another wedge as well surely?

EDIT: remember a guy from my local course (left handed golfer) telling me when he plays a links course near us he always takes a right handed driver as it suits 3/4 holes there lol.. Hes a great golfer just watching him play so seeing him swicth from left handed to right handed lol would just be crazy lol.

Good God - I'm a Libran, I can't decide what club to hit now - another two and I'd never finish a round!!!
