Working on a new golf club cleaner, would love 2 mins of your feedback

Tough to attract people for an item with no real need here.

Not seen it in action, but care needs to be taken when cleaning clubs - water down the hosel is a no no and fitting 4 clubs, as opposed to all takes any convenience away.

Sorry!

A range close to me had one of these ultrasonic cleaners about 20 years ago....aluminium tank, you just stood your clubs in it (all of them) in about six inches of water, put 50p in the slot, it whirred and whined for a couple of minutes. You took your clubs out, and, to be fair, the heads were sparkly clean with pristine grooves.

It didn't last long though...was only there three or four months. I heard a couple of tales of players having heads come loose, allegedly down to the ultrasonic vibrations breaking the bond of the epoxy in the hosel. Dont know how true this was mind.

Seems to me the OP is trying to re-invent the wheel.

It’s just a jewellery cleaner. He’s not invented anything.

Just needs the right branding, get a few influencers to advertise it, and golfers will readily part with their cash.

Ultrasonic baths are already readily available at that size for around £60/$80. Another £20/$25 would buy one that will take all your irons in one hit.

A friend of mine restores antique clocks as a hobby. He paid £20 for a secondhand one off the ‘bay.

The product has already been extensively put to market in the sport, and it flopped. Can’t remember the last time I saw one.
