How many do we need. Obviously MWJ has no golf for a while so he needs a golf job to keep him occupied, but are we heading towards too many chiefs and not enough indians? We have gone from no moderators for 2 years, to 7 in a week.

As someone who nudged Mike privately about this earlier in the week (so if your'e looking for a scapegoat....) I'm pleased we have some moderators on board at last. At least now we can deal with these liggers and spammers and nip it in the bud. Also, and I've been guilty of this, anything that gets a bit heated or personal can now get edited/removed and tempers allowed to cool.
I'm all for it and hopefull the mods will have a quiet time as I like to think we're all pretty adult and sensible guys on here and know how to be behave in the best virtual clubhouse on the wide web thingy.

Lads, to be honest I am gonna just saunter along like I always have and only if I see something really O.O.B.then I will dig out my Mod trilby and put a stop to it. I posted a post (??) on the first "moderators wanted" thread, which I notice has either killed off the thread or my joke went down like a lead balloon.
I was a little disappointed that in my 10 hour absence from the board, it looked as if the deal was done and 4 folks had been appointed.
Imagine my surprise to see 3 fresh moderators added today, when I'd presumed the ship had sailed. So, I've missed out again....I thought the original idea was to have four, so I kept my mouth shut.....
Like trying to join an exclusive golf club, do I presume the wait is now until someone resigns or quits the board?
I don't know......maybe I should consider it fate.....
