For those of you who read my thread on Friday regarding getting some Mizuno MP53's, well ive went and done it!

Got what I thougth was a cracking deal, £299 for 4-PW in near new condition, which condsidering they retail at £570 new I think this was a pretty good price. Part exed my old MP60's for £160 so only coughed up £139 for my upgrade.

Faces and grips have had a scrub and they are sparkiling in my bag - hopefully not too much as I dont want our lass to notice them

Just need to get out this week sometime and give them a try!

I did think of that, but I just cant play with dirty clubs so had to clean them before using them

I suppose I could try iron head covers but that is just soooo wrong in many ways

Well he said he would give me whatever Golfbidder would offer, so with all the reports ive heard about them I was expecting £100 max. So was well chuffed when they offered £160, would have been rude to say No!

Do mods not have the power the read our PM's then? ....im guessing not like, otherwise brendy would have given me a lifetime ban ages ago

What shaft came with them and why was someone selling so quickly?

Came with DG S300 inch longer than standard which was perfect for me. Nobody was selling them quickly, it was just what they were priced at in a nearby pro shop - ony went in to use the driving range, but once I spotted them I just couldnt resist

ok thanks, I meant that as they are new someone bought them and sold them on quickly.
