Hi,

Looking to replace my TM Burner 2.0 irons in regular shafts. Hit them well and have had them for a few years now.

I play off 5 and looking to spend £400-500. Don’t really want to exceed that (prefer to pay less obviously!!!).

Anyone got any good recommendations?

You have not really given much to go on. All the manufacturers make good irons, will come down to what you are after and what suits your eye.
Have you been just regular, off the rack?
Your current irons may be more targeted for a higher handicapper than you are but obviously go with what works for you..

If looking to not spend much. Will throw in Wilson Staff FG Tour F5 Irons to your consider list, plus TM SLDR if you fancy staying with TM.

I believe clubhouse golf have these (4-PW) at £299.99

cobra fly z plus? well thought of and available for around £299 as they're an older model (the replacement is basically exactly the same, so you wouldn't be missing anything)

What are you after? 3i - PW? Or 4i or maybe even 5i?

I think most of the latest clubs will be £100 per iron, or potentially more.

So you’ll struggle with your budget of £400 - £500 if you’re after the latest gear, and a knock on of that is that getting fitted is harder. Or at least getting fitted in that exact club.

I realise this probably isn’t a very helpful post, but I’d get down to a retailer near you and try as many as possible and narrow it down from there. What do you like the look of, what don’t you like, what is in budget, what isn’t etc

You can go to American Golf and do a 'fitting' for free. I say fitting in inverted commas because really you can just use it to try out all the latest irons and see what you prefer (you can listen to the advice of their fitter or ignore them really it's up to you). Then whichever is the best for you, you can probably get them second hand for £500 if you have a good look round.
