Elliott is GM Staff, so it’s official and not linked to The Forum although there will be members of both.

I posted this comment on the Facebook Group but thought I'd do the same here. It may be coincidence, but since joining this Facebook group I am getting lots of posts/feeds from other golf related groups which I have not subscribed to or joined.

They are public groups but are of no interest to me. I can only assume its due to the wizardry of Facebook that they see I have subscribed to a golf group and now bombard me with stuff from other groups, including a Dutch Golfing group, Rick Shields podcast group and Golfmates. As these are public groups it seems like I can't turn off notifications so just have to put up with a load of stuff I'd rather not see.

Just a word of warning if anyone else is affected!!

If it's moderated in the same draconian manner that this place is, it's unlikely to.

Out in the big bad world of social media people tend to talk like they would in the street, unlike this place where you have to talk like you're in a nursery.
