Who else agrees we need a new forum one more up todate.

We need a forum that when you post a reply within a thread it jumps back to the top as if the topic isnt on the 1st page with this forum there is no point replying to anything.

I vote for a new forum layout

Its not hard to change everything over tho but it does need a serious makeover which would attract more people to this place

If you go into user options, near the top left. Then go into display preferences EDIT. Then go near the bottom of the page and click on “sort threads by” and click last post date. Then the last post will go to the top.

Why don't you just sort threads by last post - instead of inciting revolution!

That is no excuse though. These days processing power is cheap and abundant,if the happiness of the Forum users is important to GM they could adress it without too much bother. If the problem lies deeper then I can understand their reluctance to sort it.

I have my settings to send the most recent replies to the top. Much better!

As for the speed.....it's very slow a.t.m. nothing to do with 'net connection.....I'm on 8 mb running consistently at 6.5 mb......still slow! The server at GMs end I guess.

I like it the way it is, uncluttered and simple to use. And there's only 6 and a half months until the wee cake picture appears beside my user name on my birthday. Can't wait for that, I am trembling with antici-

there are times when it just hangs, which I had always put down to the net connection at my end. possibly not if so many experience it - unless we're all using the same provider? Mine's Virgin
