NXT tours for me for the last 9 months. But since finding a Trispeed on the course a couple of weeks ago, I'm toying with going back to them.

Z stars are my favoured ball for smashing into the rubbish. I can also confirm they do not float.

Have used both AD333 and Wilson DX2s - currently going with the DX2s - and seems to have made a positive difference to the game. I don't swing especially quickly (clue's in the screen name) and the DX2s seem to travel and feel good off both wedges and putter.
