Started with 5 straight pars, playing well, putting superbly then...
Bogey, Double, Double, Bogey - 6 gone in 4 holes and I'm over handicap - WHAT!!!!???
Back 9 - 5 pars and a birdie then....
Bogey, Double, Bogey to finish......

Jeez this game grates on you sometimes...

Could be worse Murg.

I played last week in an open medal at our course....
I was 15 over on the front 9 and 5 over on the back.....

3 over gross altogether but i took a few positives....Its hard to get back on track when you've only 2 shots to play around with for the back 9....
Funny thing was it was a grip issue with me that caused all the wayward shots....One which Bob has given me the heads up on.......

Yep, dropped six on the front nine last medal, par for the back nine til eighteen, and then a treble to finish for a net seventy two. Ok shooting, in retrospect, but junk compared to what it should/could have been.

Been rubbish since though.

Handicap on an escalator, going up.

I know the feeling! playing a friendly game tonight i had a stinking first 8 holes scoring only 8 points and picking up on 4 holes.

Thought to myself "i'll play the par3 9th and if i don't play it well i'm walking in and going to the bar" ended up with a par so lifted my mood abit.

Ended up with 25 points through 10 holes an 6 over gross.

Fecking game get's right on my norks at times!

Oh how I'd love to see Nett Par but if you take 20 shots on 2 holes and then gave up when about to take 8 of the tee on the 9th like I did last Saturday then it won't happen soon
