We have this. I don't know the answer but it isn't excessive. I barely notice and it isn't enough to push me into paying more.

It seems a bit random. Sometimes it’s every 20-30 minutes, other times I’ve just had a couple of ads at the start of the programme, then no more interruptions.

100% this. In stark contrast to Prime which seem more regular and a lot more lengthy.
