Been down the range again tonight as a final practice for a week's golf north of the border - 36 holes a day for week! Lovely. Seems to be coming together nicely (how's that as a prediction for a fall). Was spanking some beautiful draws but a bit disappointed in how much shape I had to put on the shot to get it to land where it was supposed to. Until I realised that the right to left wind was something more than "stiff".

I feel some good scores coming on (provided all the holes are 135 yards - so as I needn't use anything but the pitching wedge which seems to be durned consistent for now). Roll on Saturday.

So stay tuned - I may need a shoulder to cry on when it all goes horribly wrong

36 a day for a week - I am exhausted today after playing 18 the last 3 nights in a row! That is a after a days work first of course.
Still quite impressed with your marathon golf plans, I would be taking a day off in the middle of the week to relax, spend the day in a beer garden for example.
I must be a lightweight!

Sounds so good, I think I will suggest such a thing for our charity event next year!

Good luck, hope you have a blast and as always... our e-shoulders will always be here should you need them!

Lucky bugger.
Where are you playing next week?

This year we're staying in Ayrshire. Only a couple of courses pencilled in - in heavy pencil only though. Glasgow Gailes is one, Lanark another (the location of one of the party's nemesis rounds - so he wants another crack at it). I fancy Prestwick St Nicholas, but the rest is suck it and see what we find. Recommendations accepted/appreciated.

Ps: it's not as hard as it seems - we actually only play 18 on the Sunday. :D

Lanark? My Nemisis "Dormie"'s home track.(Death match on Monday BTW) Have played it a few times. Bloody good course. Just keep an eye out as there's about 3 holes that the fairways cross each other. Greens are generally excellent. Superb, unspoilt views as well.
Have a good one whatever.
