I realise I've not been playing long (Nov) but since I started I've had my heart set on a Scotty Cameron putter. I've looked all over was offered a great deal on a Newport last week but whilst I like the new ones I wanted one a bit "special"

I was put in touch with a really nice guy called Peter from the putter room and discussed what I was looking for and after many many emails I finally settled on the Newport 2 Buttonback with teryllium insert. It's really a work of art and with there being only 4000 made worldwide it's also quite rare.

I'm happy to say that the putter arrived today and it really is a gorgeous looking thing and most importantly I can use it and feels much much nicer than my old TM mallet.

Anyway here's the pics!!

Personally I dont think the cost matters (too an extent). A quality putter will last for years and used the most so is probably one of the most important yet cost effective purchases any of us will make club wise.

Enjoy it Mike
