My first ever Eagle today.

Was playing the par 5 today and hit Driver then 3 wood, leaving me about 100yds to the pin so stood behind the ball got my aim then took stance and swung smoothly. Watched as the ball landed a few feet from the pin rolled a little then disappeared into the hole for my first ever Eagle, luckily was playing with my mate so had a witness.:fore:

Congrats. I had a long putt for an eagle the other week as my approach shot cannoned off a tree and landed onto the green. Missed it but made the birdie at least.

By the way, driver + 3w left you 100 yards? How long is the hole?

I aint a big hitter, the hole is 491yds.

Great news. Not had one for yonks but managed to nearly get to a par 5 on Thursday (green side bunker) so if these come into range more often then I may get more chances
