Played this morning and was level par after 9 holes, I let it go a little but finished up just 6 over, not my lowest score sadly as only played 17 holes as one of the par 3s was closed due to being too wet.

I mostly chipped and putted well, although did miss one putt from 2 feet and 3 putted another green, I also dropped a shot by finding a water hazard and also annoyingly bogeyed the easiest of the par 5s.

I know we are off mats and have 6 temporary greens but the way I am playing at the moment is very encouraging, I hope I can carry it into the new season when it starts n March.

Great stuff, enjoy the good feelings!!!

Well, I continued with this good vein of form today. I only played 12 holes as we had a committee meeting, but started par, par, birdie, par, birdie, par so was 2 under after 6, sadly had a couple of doubles but finished the 12 holes just 3 over.

no offense Louise but theres been a few posts by others about PB's and great scoring..........but your course (and theirs) are mostly on winter greens which are as near to a normal green as we all are to being in the world top 10 golfers.

Look forward to your posts about being under par after 6 on a normal length course with normal greens.

Nothing like deflating someone when confidence is high

Louise - keep up that great form - you can only play what is in front of you , keep building the confidence up

Absolutely and I pointed it out in my first post, however the pleasing thing is I am hitting it straight and my chipping has been very consistent, which is a great improvement.
