Just popped into the local AG. Not really looking for anything in particular, but walked out with a no. 6 MP67 for a fiver.

I've always liked the look of them, but I don't have the game for these things. But I figured for a bit of practice in the net or on the range, that the less forgiving club will help my ball striking. Well that's the theory anyway.

We'll see how we get on over time. And it will be a useful thing for when I spend 10 minutes in the garden. Rather than finding my 'own' sticks.

And I thought I was doing well, mx 300 £15,mx 52 £10,the
project x is too stiff for me on the mx 300,but I do like the dynamic gold sl on the 52,after using mx 17s for the last 4 years, the 52s might be the iron for me,they feel
brillient.

Yip, so happy you bought another model to practice with and "improve your ball striking with"!

Keep telling yourself that and you may be able to hold off for another month tops!

Whilst I don't personally subscribe to this theory, I think everyone should hit a proper iron now and again.
I reckon I must have hit over 6,000 balls with my Mizuno TP9s.
I loved hitting them (I was off about 19 > 12), before I discovered Tommy Armour 845s.
