• We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!

Most you have paid for a round of golf ?

£108 quid for the Old Course in about two weeks time. :D

Value for money? I thought so when I shelled out but will wait to see what I feel after I get back.

My mate paid £50 plus £20 for a buggy , and had to come of after the first hole when his hangover got the better of him and was sick as a dog. He also had to pay out around £20 in bets that he had been made. So £90 for one hole I think that's expensive..

Ha ha, brilliant !!
Got a couple stag doo's coming up this year (including my own) , I can see something similar happening to some of our crowd.

Some people just don't know when they've had enough

I'm on a mission to play all (or as many as I can get on) of the top 100 which isn't going to be cheap

You must be getting close Gordon - well ahead of most on here. I have the same goal - need to tick a few off this year!

Into the 60's now Paul. It's getting really difficult, having to travel further and further afield to find ones I've not played so now have to factor in travel and accommodation over and above green fees
