Played Dunmurry in fine weather only interrupted by a short burst of rain on the 9th hole. Started with a fine bogey and carded a 73 including a double bogey at the 9th and of my society handicap of 3 (club is 9 at the moment) had 36 points which was enough to lift the trophy. I was voted in Vice captain for this year also uncontested so all in all a decent days work.
Highlights of the day was my driver, it just went where it was supposed to go and even surprised myself at times with the distance I was hitting the ball.
Anyone else had any happiness this week so far?

Well done Brendy and good luck in your Vice Captaincy. My happiness is that I am consistantly playing to my handicap at the moment but hopefully will bring it down soon.
Again WELL DONE

Playing off 9 Sunday was our 1st major of the year front 9 i dropped 8 shots back 9 dropped 1 so hit a nett 69 which got me 10th and a little £7 prize.

Happy with back 9 just need to sort my front 9 out!!

No. Shot 78 on thursday, 79 Friday, 79 Saturday, and Sunday, medal, 86.

Peaked too early again. Story of my golfing life.

Haven't lost a ball for a month now though, so some good news. Seem to be wearing them out. Prov1xs don't seem to last very long.

Just a quickie update, hopefully this will help me confidence wise for this saturdays fred daly stroke competition. No howler shots, just a few short chips that should have been better.
