Mizuno Fitting Centre at Wrexham - Closed down!!!!!!

Just got a call from Mizuno telling me that the Mizuno Fitting Centre at Clays golf at Wrexham has been closed down with immeiate effect!

I was due to go for a fitting next friday Oct 21st and I asked if I could even possibly change it till tomorrow but was told that it is closed with immediate effect from today!!!

They told me that it only happened in the last hour or so.

I was only talking to them this morning as I had originally booked the wrong day so we changed the fitting date only this morning.

That is how fast it has happened....gutted

I just got off the phone from Clays and they say that they will continue fitting for all manufacturers equipment with thier own fitters as normal for a £20 fee which can be redeemed if you purchase clubs from them direct.

It is the Mizuno fitting centre based at Clays that is shutting down with immediate effect.

did they have a Mizuno only fitter like the national ones have? thats what I meant by the fitters have gone, however, looks like its a regional one and Mizuno have just stopped supporting it (as they are doing for the national ones in January 2012)

It was a Mizuno National Fitting Centre until today

it was a National fitting centre, however, its been well known for a couple of months that it was shutting down. Maybe the Mizuno fitters have found new employment and left early. I hope so, as the service I had there was second to none. Good luck to the guys who worked there. The clubs you fitted me for earlier this year, when I had just started back after a 4 year lay off, have shot 74, 77, 72 this week. Not bad for a mid handicap hacker who apparently can't use bladed irons.. The best decision I ever made.
