Hi, on the suggestion of my daughters pro, he said she should try some bladed irons, a Mizuno MP68 6 iron demo club, she loved it & hit it great, much better than the slight cavity ones, tried again today & just as good, just need to look at the shaft as the Project X 6.5 shaft was losing her 10 yards but very accurate, issue is i'm not flush with 600 notes, so are there any older mizuno blades worth trying, looking at around $200-$300 used/new. any help appreciated.

doesnt look like you can get the project x shafts though on that site. I was gutted as I would like to upgrade my irons!

You should be able to pick up MP-32/33/67 for under £150

Lots of people still say the 33's were the best blades Mizuno ever made.

I had 32's and they were nice as well, bit higher flight than the 33's but they had the wrong shafts in for me so sold them on.

Project X 6.5 is a very stout staff indeed, commonly used by PGA pros, and very few LPGA pros could cope with that flex.

The MP33 might be a lower price alternative. Still considered one of the best blades that Mizuno ever played, and also worth looking at the MP62. This is the predecessor of the 63, and good enough for Luke Donald to stick with.
