Minimum number for a Qualifier?

Yesterday our Monthly Midweek Stableford attracted the huge number of 6 entrants!
Mainly, I guess, most were put off by the horrendous weather forecast.
I was wondering this morning if there is a minimum number of entrants for a Comp to be a qualifier?
Do you need a certain number ?

Assume its a rule to our club, but ours doesnt count as a competition unless there are 10 runners, occasionally in winter the mid week medal doesnt get there lol

A few of ours have been deemed reduction only if there has been a low return of completed rounds. Unsure at what point this kicks in though.

RO is a function of the CSS calculation and will kick in at (about) less than 10% playing to buffer zone.

With smaller fields this can happen without terrible conditions because small fields are less likely to match statistical norms! This year CONGU has added additional approaches for fields of less than 10 in an attempt to resolve - it's a frequent occurance in ladies events (apparently).
