Good people, your thoughts please.

Big Bertha 3W is my tee club. 15* loft and Fubuki 43" length shaft, which is the main reason I don't use a driver. Distance is not a major problem and I'm not deliberately seeking more. However, I would prefer a slightly larger head at address.

So, I have bought a second hand Bertha Mini, 14* loft with a stock 44" Kuro Kage shaft. I believe the weight of this (65g) is the same as the stock Fubuki from my 3W.

I plan to put the mini head on the Fubuki 3W shaft, a shaft I like and feel comfortable with the length. I will therefore be dropping 1* of loft but gaining head size and I would expect head/swing weight.

I won't get to test it out until the weekend but what would you expect to see vs the standard 3w set up in terms of flight/feel etc?

Cheers

If you have both of the clubs, weighing the 2 heads (removed from the shafts) on some accurate-ish scales will give you an idea.

Changing head weight, 2g = 1 swingweight point.

I could be way off the mark but I'd expect the mini to be lighter.

I doubt you'll be able to notice a real difference between the 2.
I've done this with the same clubs in the past and there's been little, if any, change...
Perversely, I had better results with the standard BB 3 wood....

Worked a treat! Little bit of distance gain, solid feel, nice flight and much more friendly at address off the tee. Very happy! Cheers guys.

The stock shaft from the Bertha 3W, thinks it's the 65 something or other?

A while back, I bought a Cally Optiforce 5 wood to match my 3 wood.

Turned out it was a TC Tour club. It came with a Fubuki ZT70 shaft and it's epic.

I love the shaft so much, I've just ordered the 60g variant for my driver!

You're going to have to get the 3 wood sorted to match now...
