So, I've been really struggling getting driver to come down inside, causing me to strike on the heel. My coach gave me a drill using my swingplate, and off I went to practise. Upon attempting the drill on my own, I hit the metal part of the swingplate, and managed to snap my driver shaft (Kuro Kage 60 in Stiff).

Anyway, my mate had a spare shaft with Taylormade tip on (Evenflow Riptide 5.5) and suddenly with the new shaft, I was managing to get the shaft in to out a lot easier. Is this due to the shaft, or just me having a better day? I understand the Riptide is softer flex then the Kuor Kage.

Evenflow 5.5 is between reg and stiff
5 is reg, 6 is stiff

Personally I never got on with the Kuro Kage Tini, too long ago to remember the reason, and sold it.

A change of shaft won’t change your swing plane ( if I have read it right).
swing plane will follow your hand path.
it’s probably the shaft just suits you better with your swingchange.
