Mid-Handicap Balls

I was wondering which balls some of you might recommend based on the following :

• I currently play Srixon Trispeeds but am looking for something less pricey, although happy with lake balls.
  I like a soft feel around the greens.
  Decent flight and stopping power would be nice.
  Have tried ProV1s which I just can't get the feel for.

Do you think AD333s would match up to my Trispeeds?

AD333's are great value, good all round ball.

I like the AD333 and use them a lot in the winter (prefer a softer ball with more spin in the summer). Have a look at the Bridgestone range as they are pretty good and well priced. I use these guys a lot

I think the Srixon soft feel are a decent ball, and about £12 a dozen.

Try some Bridgestones - E5s are a great ball for the money - IMO better than AD333's

Trispeeds are (iirc) a 3 piece ball and the 333s a 2 piece. AG have been selling Trispeeds for about £15 for teh past year; except for some reason they've realised that's a bargain for a 3 piece balls. So, to coincide with Srixon rebranding/reissuing/redesigning them, the price is going up to something like £28 quid !

What did you pay for them off ebay?

I paid a total of £26.24 (inc postage) for 50 AAA/pearl Trispeed balls from Lakeballoutlet on EBay. Out of 50 balls three of them are the new Trispeed and the rest are last year's design...which is fine.
