Anybody just see this?!? After a conversation with bones Phil hit this amazing shot! Unbelievable! The Ariel camera shot was brilliant!

I'm not sure if the shot was the brilliant part or the conversation with his caddie leading to the shot however to move the ball through the air like that with 9 iron when everybody else was using an 8 was very impressive.

Both were great to watch! Saw it on Sky, will try and find a link!

Phil hit 7 fairways yesterday.....good job he has an awesome second shot and for that matter short game too. Only 10 GIR.
Love watching him off the tee though. The ball can go anywhere.

I've not seen it, but don't forget he's left handed. I can remember an interview he gave about the 12th hole at Augusta and the Sunday pin. He felt it was an advantage to him as a left hander as if he went for it and pulled it a little it would likely go further whereas if a right hander went for it and pushed it a little it would likely go shorter and bring the water more into play.

I didn't think it was that special.... but did notice that Mickelson doesn't understand the ball flight laws, which I thought was rather more interesting. Shame as he could keep the ball in play a lot more if he understood that he needs to control his swingpath instead of rolling his wrists.

Yeh what an eejit, that was obviously a fluke and he'll never be great at shaping shots until he learns them laws. Some can and some CANT
