Only ever played mens foursomes match play which as I am sure you all know can be a brutal format at times especially if one of you is not playing close to their ability. Had a typically attritional match at the weekend giving away 13 shots which made us work very hard to win 2&1.
Tomorrow for the first time we are playing an 18 hole stableford foursomes as a qualifier for the later matchplay section.
Does anyone have any idea what a competitive score might be from their experience of this type of competition (and I know there are many variables) ?
I suspect 36 points in this format would probably be pretty reasonable to get into the next stage but really have no idea as no reference point.
