Membership Fees

Good news tonight. My club has just announced its fees for the year and they have been frozen. In late 2016 the club went into administration, came out in February 2017, and the fear was they would jump up the fees this season. Thankfully that has not happened and hopefully it will help to attract new members as well as retain existing ones.

How are others finding their fees?

A small increase. Nothing significant and now we no longer get the money from the Red Bull air race we need to fund equipment, course maintenance etc. Still consider value for money. Once I don't then I'll be looking for a new home. Think that day is a long way off

Ours are going up £26 this year. Pretty much the same as last year.

Double checked, got it wrong. Mines jumped higher as I have a locker for the first time. Increase is around 4%

£688.50 which includes a £50 bar levy , only went up £10 this year

£1305 up from £1200 But have put a £50 bar levy on.

Mine went up £15. Can't complain! Only paying £700 for an outstanding course and club.

Waiting for AGM notice, where these things are put to a vote. Rumour has it a rise of £25 is to be proposed. Nearest club to me has held there prices so there will only be a difference of £50 .....oh you know the rest.

No rise in fees @ home. Bar levy has doubled to £100 though.

No info from 2nd club yet, but not due until April.

Ours went up £25. But, to keep outlay the same, the £50 bar levy was cut to £25! Total about £950. Expensive for private club in South Wales, but on the under £20 a week index, not bad

Up about 5%, but that included an increase in the bar tariff, which doesn’t really matter as I always end up topping that up in no time anyway.

£400 increase when join new club, and that is without a locker! hope it is worth it

Around a 0.8% increase. £12 per year. £1 a month.
