i dont have a marking for my ball, looks like ill have to think of one.
and when marking on the green, was just using a plain ball marker but i have now got a couple of US coins.

Just a GREEN line for putting help for me.
As for marker, I buy one at every new club I play so whichever comes out of the bag first. Last time out it was Scarborough Souch Cliff.

on ball: Black dot either side of manufacturers name.

We all should have a mark on our golf ball to avoid any unnecessary hassle if the ball goes into the cabbage.

What happens when you hit it in the cabbage and you find two with the same number. It does happen. I hit my Titleist 2 into the long stuff and my partner found said make and number. I pulled a wedge out to hack back and it was only as I addressed the ball that it didn't feel right. It didn't have my dots on so wasn't my ball. We found mine about 10 feet away (in worse clag) but how would you have told the difference. Not meant as a pick just a question
