Is it possible to put a link from my profile page to my map location. It would be handy if everyone did it too, unless they want to keep their club a secret lol

I've just been messing about to see if this can be done and the best way to do it.

You can actually put a link to your location in your signature if thats what you want?

just go to google maps, create a new map named "my location" or whatever, stick a pin down where you are and then in the top right of the screen there is a link to "link", click on that and copy the url for the link.

Go to your user control panel on here and at the bottom (or top) of your signature type the following:

[ url=***]my location[/url] removing the space between [ & url and also replacing the *** with the copied url from google maps, save it and it should do what mine does!

Dead easy.....i've made a map for you just put the following in your signature just all on one line, if i put it all on one line here it will make a link out of it:

not quite! lol

everything i put in my last post all on one line with no spaces at all (apart from where i've typed my location) and it will put it in your sig.
