I would take it, I would quite simply do ANYTHING to play off 10 and I think that even though I love the game and play and work at playing very hard I do not have the talent to get there without your tip or toy.

GIME IT!!!

alex, I'd love to have you as a project, you have the desire and passion to be 10, you've certainly got the kit, unless there is something else you cannot say then you can absolutely get to 10, you just need the right mindset and a coach that suits you and your learning style.
Go for it young padewan!

Oh dont get me wrong... I will spend my life trying!!!!

No. I always wanted a swing that looked right and felt right to me. To have one that was patched up with fixes isn't for me. I don't care how low my h/cap is and I know it's 'how many' not 'how' but I don't want to be playing crap shots all over the course and scoring well... I hate that, I kick myself for it and know I should try harder... no magic fixes for me.

Nope not for me. Despite the lessons, false dawns, change of gear etc I am determined to stand and fall by my own ability. Despite the brickbats and barbed comments I have absolute faith that there is still a good golfer in me. The new guy I've seen for a lesson has opened my mind and clear the vision and I can see the path I want to pursue. Give me four months of solid work, a few more lessons and a de-cluttering of my short game demons and I'm determined to get where I want to. After all I need to catch Hawkeye and stay ahead of both Bash and Sundance. Snooze and you lose

Me too, as tempting as it sounds I wouldnt want to fall as sharply as that and it may make the accomplishment a bit empty or artificial. I'd rather do it the Homer way with blood, sweat and tears.

You're being offered the swing fix that will enable you to play to half your current handicap not just a halving of it for nothing. The offer saves you the years of torment and magically makes you better....
The only downside is you won't progress beyond that point.
For a 15+ handicap I can see the point in not taking it but anyone off single figures must be tempted - after all, who wants to waste a year of their life getting to scratch....

I was already a senior when I started so realistically this would be the only way to drop that far, and, if I read it right, there was no guarantee of staying there unless you put the work in.
