Lovely long week-end planned

Well what an absolutely fantastic week-end. Played three of the nicest courses I have ever played, I couldn't have picked a better itinerary if I'd tried.
Despite raining overnight on the Saturday and Sunday, we didn't have a drop of rain whilst playing any of the courses, couldn't have picked better weather.
As mentioned above, Ferndown was an absolute stunner, Broadstone again was superb, "majestic" is a word that comes to mind when you take in everything about the course. The quality of the holes just got better and better, it's just a shame that the greens were not up to the standard of either of the other two courses.
Parkstone was just superb too, the 1st hole gave a very good indication of what was to come, with fantastic bunkering and some of the best greens I have putted on all year.
Sue, our host for yesterdays game, came to within 6 inches of making an ace at the par 3 16th, when she and Richard were dormy 3 down. It was a "gimme" two and it really looked like they were going to take the fight down the 17th until Slasher Nash canned a 30' to halve the hole and win the match.
A brilliant week-end, brilliant company, and as I say, three of the best courses I have ever played.
Thanks for the memories lads and lasses.....IMG_20160613_132843.jpgIMG_20160613_132904.jpg

Really glad you enjoyed it Rob, everyone seemed to have a great time. Such a shame about the greens at my place but it didn't spoil an overall fantastic weekend.
Richard's plan to bring the girls down next time sounds good, we can start work on that one soon

It was ok I suppose.

Nothing could have spoilt the weekend Gordon. Three great courses, top company and perfect golfing weather. Can't wait to do it all over again, and I might even win a game next time.
