After all the sh**e I played yesterday, I found my game again today (except for my tee shot on the 6th). I was fortunate enough to play the Old course at Sunningdale and managed to go round in 79
Highlight of the day was the 18th, my playing partner pulled his drive onto the 1st fairway and had 232yds to the pit. His 3 wood lipped out and ended up 8 inches from the hole. I had approx 150 yds to the pin, hit 8 iron to about 2 ft. The greenkeepers that were working on one of the bunkers were impressed

Glad to hear that you got your "Mojo" back for the big one Tony. Must have been a bit breezy round there yesterday, I know it was blowing a good 'un down here!

You could have loaded them in the correct order of the holes though. For the benefit of everyone else, this is what they are:

• The first 2 are of the 7th hole from near the tee.
• The next 2 are the 6th hole.
• Then we have a view back to the 3rd tee with the 13th fairway on the left beyond the trees and the 2nd green just to the right of the 3rd tee.
• The final 2 are the first hole.

Its a stunning course though. Well up there in my list of favs. It's the sort of course I'd happily play all the time and never grow tired of it.

Nope, we played from the whites. I did offer to play off the blues but we decided that white would be best this time round. Maybe next time

I'll bring my camera again next time and get some more piccies of the holes I missed.
I keep forgetting I've got it in the bag. The number of courses I've visited and had my camera with me and never taken one bloody shot!
Look forward to the return match
