How many people watch Lost. I love it. Just when you think you are getting somewhere to answering something they hit you with another WTF moment.

You have to watch every episode though, if you just started watching it, you would not know what was going on. Saying that if have watched every single episode, you still wouldn't know what was going on!

Sorry Matt, I bought into the hype before this show started and stuck with it for a few episodes of series 1 but then just lost interest as the plot made less and less sense. The first few episodes were quite intruiging but it LOST it's way! ;)

Dont rate it and would change channels if it came on.

The old bald guy with the knives was quite cool though!

I enjoy Lost but do at times want to throw something at the TV out of sheer frustration.

Will be interesting to see what happens now as we all know that Sawyer and Kate are loved up and that Jack and Juliette are the same, maybee some partner-swapping (not car keys in a hat type btw) may be on the horizon.

Got to be the most apt named programme on Tv

After 3 episodes, that's exactly what it did to me.

My son has watched every one and said that a lot of the plots are now unravelling.

I may watch the last one and then............. well, nothing :D cos it will be over :D

Watched the first few episodes then it 'lost' me. I did get into the one with the aliens in the Florida Evergaldes, and the cop was one of the aliens. Cannot remember what is was called, but it was taken off the TV after the first series. Typical. Jericho was something else I tried watching, but it was just clumsy.

I've now given up with American soap dramas, except Dexter. Which for some reason I've got into. Can't stand any of the others though.

hapless, WTF????

the only bit I understood was Dexter.
I have seen every minute of both series. Oh I wish I could be him.
He is dating his on screen sister in real life,,, Wierd!

I used to watch the Xfiles & Quantum leap and a few others but generally a lot of the US stuff are crap.

I have a feeling that the series with the aliens in the water was called Invasion?

As for Lost, I never could be bothered trying to work out the various plots.

Spot on. It was Invasion! Whatever happened to that?

I read the plot of Jericho online from an American site after watching the first few episodes. Good grief. It made Lost look simple! I gave up!

I suspect Invasion was heading down the same road.

Can't stand the Desperate Housewives / Sex in the City type piano plinking and plonking that they call 'music' in the programs. Drives me insane!! It's all tosh!

I nearly watched the first series of lost, but not quite. This is an achievement for me, as normally I can't watch anything that doesn't end. I have the attention span of a gnat, and so I mainly watch films, as I know they will end soon.

However, I would love to see all of lost, or 24, or The Wire, as they are all good. So, why not buy the dvd. Why not, I'll tell you why, because the dvd is rubbish. Money for old rope. Why can't they edit the series before releasing the dvd. Half of every episode is recap, look forward, credits, prequel, etc. For every hour episode, about 20 minutes is new. I want the dvd boxed set to run straight through, no stops, no recaps, no credits til the end. Yes, 24 would be more like 6, but it would track straight through, with no filler. Why not.

That's one of my bug bears with alot of what's on TV at the moment. Even documentories on the independent channels seem to recap and repeat after every advert. I know what they're talking about, it's only been 3 minutes since it was on!

This is merging with the grumpy old men thread!

I've been watching the Battlestar Galactica series which I think has been dark and thought provoking, and good entertainment. I also like the Terminator - Sarah Connor thing.

And I've been with ER since the start - last series running now.

Sad I know, but Sky+ means I can do it when the house is quiet and the forum is on the laptop...

I can't think of a series that has been running, be it comedy, drama etc etc that shouldn't have ended at least 3 seasons before it did.

They mostly have to revamp an old story every few weeks, changing something here and there to make it seem different. Even my personal fave The West Wing went on 2 seasons too long.

Cleese had it right with Fawlty Towers. 2 series, 12 episodes - end.

I am watching the last ever episodes of Battlestar Galactica now. Has been superb but is ending about the right time.

Used to enjoy CSI but that has outstayed its welcome now.

If anyone watched it, The Shield was good for more than 3 seasons and The West Wing was generally superb for all 7 series.
