Lost phone

Daughter was at concert the other day and either lost or had her phone stolen.
Next day phoned to cancel sim card, the lady asked do you want me to disable phone as well i just said yes, my question is if phone was lost and in the event of someone handing it in can phone be reactivated or is that it phone useless anyone know. Cheers in advance

im sure they could unblock if it was found, as im sure most could get a blocked phone unblocked from the shady man at the market

Very unlikely to get network to unblock it ... and the shady man at the meet can NOT unblock phones

Wife works for a mobile phone company and tells me yes you can get it unblocked again although will obviously involve a lot of security questions

Thanks for replys hopefully she might get lucky and get it back but not holding out much hope.

Exactly what i was going to say, if its an iphone you can trace it, send it messages, even if switched off. Its a really good app.

Not an Iphone galaxy ace but shes only had it 5 or 6 months so now she's gonna be badgering me for a new one.
and i will probably give in but gonna try and hold out for at least a fortnight.
