Dumbbell Bench Press - 5 Sets
Dumbbell Incline Bench Press - 5 Sets
Cable Crossover - 3 Sets
Smith Machine Close Grip Bench Press - 4 Sets
Bent Bar Tricep Pulldown - 3 Sets

Really good workout considering I’ve been up for over 24 hours, looking forward to my bed 😂😂

Nah, I think I've got to attempt a marathon at some point, but possibly next year. Would be ideal if Wolverhampton or Birmingham had one, I know I'll be in a bad way when I'm done and I'd rather just get home ASAP.

Wolverhampton used to have one. We did it one year. Two lap affair. 30 degree heat. Took all we had not to bail and call it a half!

I can't stand multi laps or out and back races. Thinking I've got to do this again when I'm on my first go round makes me want to cry.
I did the Wolverhampton half marathon a few years back, and that was multi lap, took me past the end of our street and the kids got a smaller wave than they did the first go round.

That year we started as a 3 and finished as a 2 as one bailed at half-way! Nottingham used to be the same.

Weights Last Night

Shoulder Press Machine - 4 Sets
Lat Machine (Wide & Narrow) - 4 Sets
Single Handle Lat Rows - 4 Sets
Bent Bar Tricep Pulldown / Ez Bar Bicep Curl - 3 x Superset to failure

Hopefully a run tonight, depending how I'm feeling.

Busy evenings are Fridays so rather than cooking we set aside a simmer meal each. I was apprehensive as it was one I had just got to try. It was very delicious. One of the best ones. Something I wouldn't pick on a normal menu for sure if out so definitely worth it

Shame the prices have risen slightly but still for me worth it as it takes a lot of the planning out of meals for work

Got a week off coming up and so far 3 rounds and the par 3 with my dad planned. Should be a good set up to a week of nights lol 🤣

I worked away last week. Managed to still get my exercise in as the hotel had a gym and pool. Glad I only have to semi regularly do that as eating becomes a chore. And doing it kind of healthily (within reason) adds to it. Breakfast was fine as I had oats/yoghurt/fruit as normal. But for dinner I just relaxed. Restaurants should be about eating nice stuff and enjoying yourself. Not merely about sustenance. Especially when someone else is paying… I did mix it up though. Indian x 2, Greek and a Steakhouse. Plus a few beers each night. Surprisingly, no weight gained. But my guts were all over the place, probably wondering what was going on.

Overtook a chap on my run just now, guess he didn't like it because he sped up. Mate, I can hear you breathing, just let it go. It's not a race.
He might have been slacking anyway and you just gave him a metaphorical kick up the backside. I remember one time in a Parkrun I was overtaken and beaten by a man who looked in his 70s. I just figured he'd been doing it all his life and beat me with experience.

Yeah but the quicker I over take him the quicker I can have a little rest too. Helps us both.

I hate 5ks, you feel like you should be going at your fastest because it's the shortest distance and then you're spent after 2miles. Probably how this guy beat you.
