Aldi have them in. A special buy at the moment.I'm looking to buy some kettlebells for home workouts, I don't have the time nor the inclination to go to the gym.
Looking online, cast iron is the best way to go and it appears getting a 12kg and 16kg would be best for my current fitness and the fact I'm a beginner to kettlebell workouts, does anyone use them on here? Would it be best to buy one of each weight (12 and 16) or maybe a pair of 12s for instance?

Nice, didn't know that - I'll have to pop to my local one.Aldi have them in. A special buy at the moment.
Just checked website and they've been delayed. Mine came from there though and are good. Argos have some in the sale.Nice, didn't know that - I'll have to pop to my local one.
I bought the 12's last year. Really good but after using the smaller cast iron ones at the gym I think I'd go for the smaller version if I bought anymore. Great value though. I bought 2, really handy for alsorts of workouts.Nice, didn't know that - I'll have to pop to my local one.
I bought a 24kg one last week, cheap as chips and good quality.Just checked website and they've been delayed. Mine came from there though and are good. Argos have some in the sale.

Glad you’re getting the results you were after. Nearly 11lbs in a week is a lot, but I expect this will stabilise over time. As well as the dietary changes are you incorporating any new exercise into your routine? Are you getting a better idea of when you’ll be full? Just wondering how that shifts with this medication. Psychologically do you reduce portion sizes to what you think you need. Or do you just stop when the medication tells you you’re full?Managed to weigh myself before bed (they say morning but I did first weigh in evening so sticking to it for consistency)
Day 6 done 4.9kg down
Happy days

Glad you don’t appear to be getting (or I don’t think I’ve read you are) any of the side effects. Interesting that your habits are changing i.e. eating the protein first, as that will actually fill you up with less volume than some carbs (ones low in fibre) and keep you fuller for longer. It’s not a bad habit for anyone to adopt. Those small changes and things like introducing more fibre into your meals will probably make the loss more sustainable after you stop the medication. For the full part the jab is just making me feel full a lot quicker than normal. I am reducing portion size knowing I won't be able to finish it. Sunday we are out for lunch with a friend I know I'll have to order something different as I won't be able to finish what I normally have. What I am doing is eating the protein first and leaving carbs until last as they fill me up sooner so with my curries I have I finish the meat side then eat the rice with the sauce on.
Exercise not yet, it's been either work or family stuff since I started , once they are back at school I can bring golf back into the exercise and add the gym a bit again
Bought some for Missis Tash for Christmas from ASDA, cheap as chipsJust checked website and they've been delayed. Mine came from there though and are good. Argos have some in the sale.
Non-alcoholic beers are decent nowadays. Plenty to choose from, go through testing a few.I'm going to attempt dry January, never done it before, any tips?
One of the lads in our fuddle, he is as fit as chips and is the smallest in our group. He decided to pack in drinking about 7 months ago. He had a mad four days when his wife had gone away with the girls. It was a month after his brother had died of alcoholism. His head was a shed. He has stayed tea total all that time. He loves the non alcohol beers, although he hates the rip off prices.Non-alcoholic beers are decent nowadays. Plenty to choose from, go through testing a few.

Ha, I’m with you on avocados! The medication will suppress your appetite. But you’re changing your habits too which will also improve outcomes. Not sure if that was a planned thing or not. But adopting those changes going forward will make keeping the weight off more likely when the medication is stopped. So win win.Yeah don't appear to have any side effects (touch wood) as of yet. However it's been 1 week so keeping my eye out.
I did have a migraine on Saturday however id had one kid muck around all night so little sleep and then overheated in a theatre, so it followed the trend of a normal one lol might not be linked
Just had smashed avocado with poached eggs have to admit it wasn't as yummy as the first time , but still felt full and couldn't finish the last of the toast (egg had gone by then so protien in)
The stopping meds is a long way off, my colleague just came off on week 12 that's his last one now he gonna go off them as he happy with his body again. I reckon I'd take at least 20 weeks but shall see. Up to 2 years your allowed on them but don't want to be on for that long (although that would still be cheaper than a stomach sleeve thing lol)
