Is there anything more annoying than losing things.

I had some furniture delivered on Friday, and unpacked it on Saturday afternoon. I found some fittings which seemed duplicate, and filed them away somewhere safe. I now know where they go, and they are important.

Can I find the flipping things?

No.

I have spent the last hour and a half looking, and I know I just tucked them away somewhere, but I have no idea where.

Annoyed is not the word for it.

I guess I'll be on the phone tomorrow begging for some replacements. Not happy.

Probably best to ring them sooner, spend ages on the phone begging, before finally convincing them.

Because this is the point when you will hang up and have your "Eureka" moment and feel silly!

I am a voluntary gardener at my local primary school.
I am always very careful when working with the children and go out of my way to explain how tools work, their safe use and storage of them.
I came home today and something made me check my tool bag.
A pair of secateurs was missing.
I thought for a second and knew exactly where I had left them.
Jumped in the car for 4 miles and walked straight onto them......Phew.

My wife has been cleaning and tidying like a demented woman for the last few days as the house is on the market and we've been having viewings. I know she has put stuff like plasters somewhere sensible but cut my finger on a tin can earlier and can we find them. Fortunately its stopped bleeding for the moment but I know it'll start again in bed and the sheets will look like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre by dawn

A few weeks ago, I had on course group lessons on the Monday and Thursday. On the Monday, I lost a headcover and on the Thursday, I lost the replacement headcover and my sand wedge! All down to rushing around, but none of the items were handed in. I also had a Grip-Rite training aid, but can't find it anywhere.

I've started paying a bit more attention to putting things back in my bag straight away.

Down the back of the couch, it's where they go to hide generally

Anyone have an ipod, iphone or ipad in the house? full remote control from the app. But i also hate it when the wife "tidies" up after me...
