UK Golfers - I need your feedback!

The idea is fine if a little niche market, might work for folks with property on golf estates etc & play infrequently.
Lots of us folks on the forum are a bit more ‘nutty’ about the game and it falls well short of the storage space needed for me. I realise the items are just for illustration but I mean 1-2 caps on that hook! where do I put the other 2 dozen. 1pr shoes, what about the other 3-4 pair? 1 box of balls? Most of us will have a 3-6 dozen. What about the other handful of clubs that are currently on what we like to call the naught step. So with all these things already needing storage in the home why separate out 1 or 2 items of each into this unit?

I wouldn’t expect it to hold multiple bags etc or even all my golf paraphernalia but for me it’s a kind of ‘weekender’ storage unit that I'd need to replenish

I think it would suit some folk but not many, majority of golfers don’t have lockers or storage at their club, but between the price and other cheaper options elsewhere I doubt sales would be through the roof.

Personally I’ve always had a locker, the only time in the past I’d ever looked at such things was for a spare bag and an old set I had at home in a hut in the back garden, biggest worry then was damp and finding something that would keep them okay like a sort of garden storage waterproof box thing.

If I’d have put something in the house trying to match the decor to store an old tour bag and set of irons she’d have put a match to it

This forum makes Dragons Den, Dragons look like pussy cats 😂.

In this instance I agree. The metal options do an excellent job and are well suited to a cold, UK garage. They are much cheaper.

To combat that you need to go to a prestige level but plywood simply isn't prestige. Try and go to a prestige club, go into their locker rooms, see the wood, see the finish. If you aren't going cheap, that should be your target, a product at that level.

Take the feedback, have a think whether it's worth continuing with.

I’d add that UK houses are generally much smaller, and so have much less ‘free space’, than houses in the US - and that applies equally, if not more, for those of us lucky enough to play the game. Plus very many to not have garages.

I wouldn't use anything like that as I have nowhere to put it. My clubs live in the cupboard under the stairs, alongside my wife's golf bag. They're pretty crammed in there with a bunch of other stuff. I could only see a use for that unit if you had like a golfing man-cave in your house, i.e. maybe with a golf sim there, so they're kind of on display. I do not have such a house.

Working on two old sayings that......

a] Golfers will buy almost anything, no matter how unlikely the end result will be. [only buying one golf glove for starters ]
b] A fool and their money are soon parted

So you never know, good luck, I think you are going to need it.

I need something like that but maybe a lot bigger.
I have a similar shelving for shoes and all the accessories - and yes it was from IKEA.

What I need is a rack for about 300 clubs.

Well, you did ask for feedback.
