As the title says, want to get a new pair of golf shoes, would like trainer style ones, but also ones which are waterproof (as in the UK, who knows what the weather has in store). Have seen a few trainer style online, however, a number of them just seem to be fair weather shoes, so asking if anyone has any suggestions

Here are a few that I have found, which from the description keep out the rain/water

If you want something waterproof I would avoid the Nike shoe as it’s simply water resistant.

I'd have a look at this site, in the sale section. https://www.snaintongolf.co.uk I've just bought a pair of Footboy Pro SLs... quick delivery, and more than £50 cheaper than they were retailing in AG a few months ago. If you don't have a problem wearing 'last years' design, then you can pick up FootJoy or Eccos for a very similar price to some of those on your list ;)

I use the Inesis waterproofs: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/mens-waterproof-grip-id_8512018.html

They have a trainer look about them (particularly if you got the all white version), they're very comfortable and they've been completely waterproof as promised. Only £55 as well. (As it says in the description, these shoes were awarded best shoe or something by MyGolfSpy.)

I've got Ecco Biom Hybrids.
Comfortable shoes and really like them. Ideal for wearing from the house and not changing. And decent waterproofing.
Trainer style in that they are spikeless.

I also have a pair of Footjoy Fury. These are even more comfortable, but are not spikeless or weatherproof.

If waterproof is important then Ecco is what you need. Comfortable quality straight out of the box

My experience is different. £190 Goretex shoes that I never found comfortable.
Only wore then about 10 times in 15 months. Last time I wore them one foot was sodden.

To credit Ecco, I sent them back and they gave me a full refund.

I’ve recently got a pair of the Nike AirMax linked above - I didn’t buy them to be waterproof but thought I’d try them tonight in light drizzle - they were fine walking along fairways but I definitely wouldn’t recommend going into wet rough with them on - I’ve never got wet feet as quickly. Very comfy shoes but I don’t think I’d describe them as water resistant.

I'll go with Ken and J55. Adidas tour 360 spikeless with the boost sole. Waterproof (I wore them all winter), comfy and trainer style. Under £100 (just). Seem to be very popular with tour pros.

I like the look of them. They are on the list for when I decide to start playing again.
