Looking for the worlds worst matchplayer?

Well look no further I'm here! I am pants at it, yesterday I helped win our 4 man team event, played good solid golf, happy. Today in a 4bbb matchplay I was utter rubbish, completely different. I know it's difficult to have two days the same off an 11 handicap but I do not think matchplay is my game. I'll not bother entering next year. Gutted

After today, it's me. Playing a singles matchplay knockout, I was playing very well tee to green but had one of my putting days. Two up after 9, on the green in 2 on the 10th, opponent in trouble and on in 4. Long uphill putt, left it short, finished up 4-putting and lost the hole when opponent sunk from 8 feet. Finished up all square, first extra hole, hit the green in 2, opponent down in 5, missed 2 foot putt to win match then lost at second extra hole.

I love it. No pressure to make a score and just have to get one less than the oppo. I love the mental side of it and think I'm becoming a solid partner. My modus operandi is to let the steady player (Hawkeye) do what he does best and I tend to loiter with intent and pop up as and when he has a rare bad hole

Thats the Idea. My tigers partner is a very steady 15 handicapper. He always gets shots in matches (He gets 5 from me in matchplay). We've won 6 matches in a row since being put together.
I honestly never though we'd gel well as a team. I've known him since joining the club but never liked the fella. Bezzy mates now.
A good team needs a steady player and a player that can push when needed. You need to find the right partner wayne.
