Looking for a nice hotel with spa & pool.

Looking for a recommendation for a place that has the above in Northern England and by Northern I mean anywhere from Harrogate and across and up to the Border with Scotland.

It is for the whole family of about a dozen of us which has ages from 1 to 65,3 kids from 3 to 7 so a pool would be great and spa for the split arses and ideally a golf course for the men though seeing as we are looking at meeting up in 3rd week in January this is not essential but maybe a bar will be!!

I have seen Headlam Hall which looks nice and very reasonable price wise,Rockliffe Gall looks the dogs nuts but pricey so has anyone got any other ideas to through into the pot???

the devere spa on the outskirts of blackpool do a a package , course is not great . but there's a few good links not that far away. and a couple of pubs in town

Forest pines sounds like the perfect place.

A cracking 27 hole course and they do boss breakfasts aswell.

Live close to Rockcliffe and only spent the 1 night there for a mates wedding and it was fantastic.something a little less pricey is Hall Garth Hotel.Has the gym/pool etc, nice pub and restaurant and a 9 hole course that has differing tee's to make up the 18 holes.Never stopped over there for the night but friends have and all say its pretty nice

Isnt it strange ,its fifteen minites from home, go past it on the way to morrisons, looks great, even got a ticket for a free round and still havent been.
I need to get a grip.
