I have hybrids, but yesterday I played in a 50 mph wind, hail and snow on the Yorkshire moors. I just didn't have a penetrating tee club into the wind on the short par 4s. I used to play Cleveland TA7 Tours 2-PW and I loved the 2 iron, but sold them as a whole set.

I dont know how that club plays but i've bought a club from that dealer before and had an excellent service, knocked him down a bit as well so worth emailing him an offer.

All the best.

Disclaimer: Minty 18 is not liable in anyway if you get overcharged or the club does not arrive as quick as stated.

2 Irons

I've got a Yonex ADX100 and a Callaway X14. Difficult to use at the best of times off turf (Yonex great when teed up). Even more difficult to use right handed

Leftie, it's not for playing off turf, although I used to play my TA7 ok. I rarely have need for that kind of shot. It's something I'd like to be able to put in the bag in place of one of my hybrids as a go to club off the tee on strong windy days.

it's not for playing off turf, ............. club off the tee on strong windy days.

Totally agree other than to punch out low from under the trees.

A few years back one summer when I was struggling off the tee even with the 3 and 5 woods, used the Yonex 2 Iron and was getting almost 3 wood distance plus good accuracy.

Second thoughts, you can't have it - it just might go for a trial run again on the course.
