Anyone else watched Golf World on SKY, just seen a brit called JOE MILLER win the world long drive beating Sadlowski along the way and a phenomenal 16yr old yank in the final. Miller drove it 414yds in the final. Awesome.

i've booked my session on the trackman for saturday so i'll finally see what my genuine numbers are and it's indoors so no wind, downhill help or anything like that.i've been told it's pretty accurate so i'm looking forward to it.
i wouldnt take them as genuine mate, i had a fitting at direct golf and their trackman was about 30 yards longer than course play, that was in good playing conditions too..
I did see that.
Do the long drive lads use crazy length shafts in their drivers? Or do they use what you and I would?

Id have to hit it over 700yrds to compete in thisI'd fancy my chances on a yd/lb basis though![]()

If it was longest drive with the shortest back swing, my money would be on Neil Tappin. It's like a magic trick.

Seconded, the only thing I can think is that he swings so quick it's not visible to the human eye. I wish I knew how he did it though
