does anyone else get p***ed off with the amount of litter on golf courses? on my local course i dont seem able to walk down any fairway without seeing discarded drinks bottles. this realy gets on my whick as there are bins at every t box, so your never more than 250 yards from one.
are people realy so far up themselves that it is too much trouble or beneeth them to use the bins.

I can't say that the problem applies to my home course, or to any that I have ever played. Occasionally things drop out of player's bags accidentally, and of course, we do get the usual head-covers left behind, but these are picked up by following groups, and handed in to the Pro's shop.

I've never played a course with litter on it and I've played a fair few muni's. I would have a word with the secretary or head greenkeeper. Maybe they could start fining people who are dropping it or ban them from the course.
