Left Hand Low Putting

I think if you search for 'spieth' and 'putting grip' you can get some photos of his grip which might help. There's one article about 5 ways to improve your game which talks quite a bit about his putting.

It looks to me as if it is a reverse overlap, rather than baseball. He then does a pretty significant forward press, so that the left wrist looks a bit bowed. Not sure if that would have implications for the loft on the putter face or any other putter setup parameters.

LOL at Alliss talking about his putting 'weakness'. He's the first player I've seen since Tiger who really looks like he's going to make everything inside 20 feet.

One thing I learnt about my putting before going LHL was which single hand was more dominant in my swing. By that I mean - do some putts single handily in left and right from same spot. Which has more control? For me my right is better, so I know that that is my "feel" hand and the left is the "control" hand. For someone like Sergio Garcia it would be the other way round, hence the claw grippy method.

Give it a go, doesn't need to be on a putting green and do it at home of the carpet, just have a target to hit/aim at.

I've tried this in the past and my right hand is way better. I don't know if this means anything other than I'm very right-handed though?
