I once bought a Tag Heuer watch out there for about a tenner back then.
It looked cool
A few weeks later it was a Heuer as the Tag fell off and, later that year, on a long haul flight, as I adjusted the time, the winder came out in my hand.
Still, not bad for about a quid a month

Went to Moraira in Spain a few years ago and purchased a genuine pair of Orange Coloured Ray Bens

I absolutely Loved them and the wife hated them so I wore them even more

A friend lost all his toes in an accident.

My FiL bought a Ralex watch in Spain one year. He hadn't seen the misspelling and was oddly annoyed when it was pointed out to him. It cost him €10 so could hardly have been a big surprise
