Laughter - the best medicine

The old Wycombe Wanderers ground, Loakes Park, had something like a 11 foot slope from one side to the other.....

The old ground at Yeovil was famous for it's sloping pitch. Probably helped them to a couple of wins against big clubs in the FA cup.

A did Hibs ground at Easter Road.
Most captains winning the toss chose to play uphill first half.
In those days fans could move round the terraces for the second half, downhill towards your own fans was quite an advantage,

I remember playing a ground once ( can’t remember the name.) only an am pitch.
When you were taking a goal kick you could not see the bottom part of the posts down the other end or the goalies legs .
it was very weird.

A man finds a lamp in the sand and gives it a rub.
Out pops a genie who says you have two wishes
Man says I thought everyone had three wishes .
Genie says look in your pants,
The man says wow it's huge.
The genie says I've been doing this for a loooooooong time.
