Not sure what topic to post this under but the end made me laugh, so it’s in here.
Anyway.
I got a message this morning re one of the lads has passed away. An hour or so later I got another message saying he had took his own life. Wife had left him and was giving him some serious grief. When I got to the golf fuddle this morning a good few of the lads knew him but had not heard the news. The lads were reminiscing about how good a worker he was. But not the brightest. One day he was screwing two x clamps/ collars onto a big methane pipe range underground. Nipped up the second bolt and dropped the spanner onto the floor. Only he had tightened the nut onto his glove between his thumb and index finger and couldn’t get his hand out of the glove. He was stood there for 90 minutes before he was found.
