Ladies open today, interesting format

Played in this today, 4 person teams, best 2 stableford scores on each hole to count, except on par 3s when all to count.
Our team came 3rd, which was nice. I played pretty well, I didnt keep score of every hole but I reckon I would have been in the mid 90s, putted well except for the last where I took 4 from the fringe. What was pleasing too was that I had a chance of hitting all the par 5 greens in 3, sadly I duufed most of my 3rd shots, but the round was very encouraging.

Ladies opens can be strange.... lots of pairs or teams formats. I want to play individual strokeplay and many clubs just don't do them for ladies. Fortunately, there are still plenty that do.

I won an open and thought I'd get a voucher to put towards a new set of irons..... I got a Marks and Spencer's voucher, so at least I'm sorted for pants for a while.
