At least AG have some stock, limited as it is and so they might be a good option. However, my advice would be to find a club with a thriving ladies section and see what their pro shop has and what offers the pro can do.

there used to be some guy turned up at ladies opens to sell old stock - he made a fortune - havent seen him for a while tho. he is normally at peebles greensomes, but they were washed out last year.

he has some new stuff - but mainly old seasons stocks. the ladies lap it up and spend loads of dosh.

I have no desire for DG or AG to improve their ladies stock - i can get my clothes fix elsewhere ;)

No chance would I wear the stuff most of the LPGA pros wear; you can tell they're being paid to wear it!

I was watching a bit of ladies golf yesterday and Jodi Ewart Shadoff was wearing a skirt that just about would pass muster as a belt. And every time she bent down to line up a put the camera was not being coy about where it was pointing. At first I was  but soon it was :). That clothing looked OK to me ;)

what type of clothes do you buy HEIDI,most of the lady members i see at the club all tend to have similar clothes, short sleeved polos and pedal pusher type pants,i have yet to see someone in skin tight shorts(unless they believed they were a size 8 when they bought them!)a top with their midriff on show and long school girl type socks,or as one on the LPGA today was wearing a very small school uniform,if the market is limited for the shops they will not buy the goods, and are all the clothes worn by women meant for golf or do they as some men do just buy something on price.

It looked like they were blurring part the image slightly - either that or my specs were steaming up

If you've got it then flaunt it. At least when pro women golfers decide to wear something different it is something different to the traditional tired dull old acceptable golf clobber.

All men do is wear the same stuff but in garish and clashing colours as they think they are expressing their individuality and it makes them look cool, edgy and different. When in the vast majority of cases it just makes them look like a badly dressed golfer with awful colour coordination.

Our pro has just left the club, he was selling off stock cheap and dragged out a box of womens clothes, he was selling for a fiver or less an item, he hardly sold any, it was mostly awful.

Since the average age of the ladies section at my club must be in the region of late 50's, I'm not sure anyone would want to see them emulate the clothing of a 20 year old, 8 stone female Pro

I don't know, there's some specialist web sites out there that woud snap that kind of thing up.

I was in AG yesterday, collecting my new Lunar Controll ll shoes ;), and they have a small section of ladies clothing. My pro shop has loads as we have a large ladies section of all ages so the ladies are in his shop all the time.

A ladies section that is large, or a section of large ladies?

I was chatting to the guy who is taking over as our new pro this afternoon and he said that he would be stocking a range of ladies clothes, managed by a girl from golfing chicks (or something that sounded lke that) and she would be rotating the stock every month so it looks like we might be able to buy some decent golf clothes soon.
